Next Muncie is a long-term redevelopment and revitalization initiative focused on the central region of Muncie, led by some of the city’s top influential leaders. Intersection was faced with the task of naming this initiative in a way that accurately portrayed the vision’s goals, enticed the community, and stood out from other similar movements; naming the leadership team; and branding the initiative—all under a tight deadline.
In Phase One of the collaboration, Intersection created a vision name; wrote and delivered a press release; developed a website complete with original messaging, photography, and videography; designed a logo; and provided media relations. Now headed into Phase Two, Intersection is maintaining website management, drafting a communication plan for crisis situations, and continuing to provide original photography and other media.
