ABOUT THE SESSION

Many companies make the mistake of talking about themselves too much. That turns off customers, who mainly want to know what’s in it for them. In this presentation, we’ll walk through the 7 principles of storytelling to identify your brand’s story through the lens of what matters most to your customers. At the end, we’ll workshop some of the story elements you’ve identified along the way. This approach works for B2B, B2C, non-profits and organizations of all sizes.

ABOUT STEPHANIE

Hi, I’m Stephanie Fisher. My day job is Creative Director at Gravity Global, a creative brand-to-demand agency. My entry into marketing was as a writer, and over the past 15 years I’ve been drawn to brand strategy work. I specialize in helping brands tell better stories that connect with their audiences. A few years ago, I was certified as a Storybrand Guide and I love the framework. I’ve used it to help dozens of brands pivot or reposition their message in the market.

A true word nerd, my current passions include a daily ritual of NYT Games (the correct order to play is Wordle, Connections, the Mini, Spelling Bee, and finally the Crossword if I have time). My book club is celebrating our 20th year of reading and discussing great (and not so great) works. Along with my husband and our two teenage daughters, I love travel and adventure. We enjoy camping and backpacking, paddling down the White River, and hanging out with our pugs.
