RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

Summary

The Relationship Manager is responsible for the sale of Intersection’s services to new and existing prospective clients to achieve revenue goals and company growth. The Relationship Manager uses thought leadership, stories, organizational, and industry knowledge to influence prospective clients and assist them in applying Intersection’s services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation and business growth. The Relationship Manager leads the execution of clients’ marketing strategies, working to exceed client expectations.

You have a desire to make great things happen for other people. You will apply marketing, branding, and advertising strategies to craft impactful plans for prospective and current clients to grow their businesses.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Drive new client revenue selling Intersection’s marketing services to new clients.

  2. Present compelling, accurate and benefit driven marketing presentations to prospective clients.

  3. Develop and maintain strong knowledge of competitive companies to leverage Intersection’s strengths and competitive differentiators.

  4. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships and gain a strong understanding of their industries and business models to identify opportunities for your clients.

  5. Develop and maintain a knowledge of Intersection’s services.

  6. Relay customer feedback regarding Intersection’s services to the Creative Services team and other appropriate individuals throughout the organization.

  7. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions to meet customer needs and objectives.

  8. Travel is required up to 30% for onsite presentations and sales meetings. After hours and weekend work required when necessary.

  9. Participate in conferences and networking events.

  10. Stay informed about marketing industry developments and translate them to impact prospective clients.

  11. Practice your craft and build your brand by contributing to Intersection’s marketing activities.

  • Willingness and ability to spend 30% of your time traveling for sales meetings.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; major or significant coursework in sales, marketing, business, communications, or other relevant field.

  • Minimum two years of related work experience with a proven history of hitting quotas highly preferred.

  • Experience with RFPIO a plus.

  • Must have understanding of sound sales processes, basic marketing, and marketing applications for organizations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
